Video: Here’s a Re-Invented Fear Effect Teaser Coming Soon to Switch

We feel like we’ve been waiting forever for the original Fear Effect to come back, since the re-Control Reinventing the effect of fear The Nintendo Switch was announced in 2017.

As you may remember, this version of the action-adventure title will capture “the same spirit and atmosphere” as the original PlayStation game from the 2000s, but will include “dramatically improved” visuals, reworked controls, and many other exciting additions.

Developer team Sushee and publisher Forever Entertainment delivered a teaser for the first time — noting that the game will “come sooner than you think” to Switch and many other platforms. Here is the back story:

“Wei Ming Lam, the daughter of Hong Kong Chief Triad, has been kidnapped. Take the roles of the mercenary trio: Hana, Glass, and Dick, and try to find the missing girl.”

Fear Effect Reinvented will be split into three separate campaigns, including a modern third-person camera (as seen above), a cover-based battle system, and also survival horror elements. In addition, there will be items to collect, puzzles to solve, and three difficulty modes to overcome.
