Tim Ream and Antonee Robinson were both excellent on defense, and although the team only had one counterattack on Tim Weah’s goal, the assists were there.

United State: The biggest question facing Greg Berhalter is how he will form the team. It was announced that Reyna would play a part against England after not coming on against Wales, but will it be from the start? One of the things missing from the Wales game was a player who could take the ball in dribbling through the middle of the field and then raise his head and attack, and this is an area where Reina excels.
Reina’s start will likely come at the expense of Weah, which is tough after his goal-scoring performance but will also allow Berhalter to bring a dynamic presence to the bench. The USMNT wouldn’t be able to pressure England without getting ripped, so a more conservative approach would be needed.
Besides, Sergino Dest is too much of a burden to take on the England winger. Assuming Weston McKennie is fit enough to start, Dest should sit out either Joe Scally or Shaq Moore. While it’s risky due to both being unknowns, Berhalter knows what he’s got at Dest and hasn’t been great for a while. The addition of Kellyn Acosta as a defensive midfielder could give Dest the cover he needs while removing Christian Pulisic from the playing set but he can’t start from a healthy McKennie.
