The former TNA president appears on Impact Slammiversary

Dixie Carter joins Impact Wrestling’s 20th anniversary celebrations.

according to ESPN’s Mark Raimondiformer TNA President Dixie Carter will appear this weekend at Impact wrestlingSlammiversary event, which will also see the company celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Carter previously served as president of TNA (now IMPACT Wrestling) from 2003 until 2016 before moving on to becoming a member of the Fight Media Group’s advisory board, a role she began in 2017.

Carter made her on-screen debut in 2009, becoming a reference figure for the company before losing ground to Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan, who both appeared in 2010. During the Bound For Glory event in 2011, Carter returned to her on-screen and won the role once. Another as a reference character after she defeated Sting Hulk Hogan in the show’s main event. Carter was to end her career as an on-screen mainstay in 2014 after she was put through a table by Bully Ray as the MVP took over the company after leaving the screen.

Carter has not appeared on screen at IMPACT Wrestling since January 5, 2016, when she faced her nephew, Ethan Carter III (EC3).
