Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 India prices leaked ahead of launch

Galaxy Z Fold 6 India price leaked along with Galaxy Z Flip 6 prices. This information comes a day after it was revealed that both the upcoming foldable phones will get a $100 price hike in the US compared to their predecessors.

Although it will take a month to launch, its design, features and specifications have already leaked.

Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 prices leaked in India

according to Mentor @chunvn8888The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be priced at INR 1,04,999 ($1,257) for the 256GB version. The 256GB version of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will reportedly be priced at INR 1,59,999 ($1,915). The higher storage variants of both phones will be priced higher than the base models.

In comparison, the base models of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 are priced at INR 99,999 (~$1,197) and INR 154,999 (~$1,860) respectively. So, this seems to be a price hike of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 by INR 5,000.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will reportedly continue with the same design as its predecessor. However, it has a better hinge and less noticeable crease on the inner display. It has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB. It will be powered by a 4,000 mAh battery.

It will reportedly feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, capable of offering 2x optical zoom by cropping the sensor. It will reportedly have a 10-megapixel selfie camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It can run Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 out of the box and comes with the promise of seven major Android OS updates.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 will reportedly feature a titanium frame and a boxy design. It is expected to feature a wider and shorter screen to improve ease of use. It will use the same cameras as its predecessor. However, it could be powered by a slightly larger battery and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

Both of Samsung’s upcoming foldable phones could feature a fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and an IPX8 water resistance rating.
