Both the Google Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 8 have been leaked extensively over the past few weeks. The premium devices are set to debut tomorrow alongside the next-gen Pixel Watch, but a new hands-on leak has now revealed all the key hardware details for the Pixel 8 Pro via AIDA64 and Device Info HW apps.
Starting with the basics, the Google Pixel 8 Pro in the leak has 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Under the hood is a non-core Google Tensor G3 engine, with four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1704MHz, four Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 2367MHz, and a Cortex-X3 main core clocked at 2914MHz. On the GPU end is the Mali-G715.
As for the cameras, the Pixel 8 Pro is equipped with three unique sensors: 12.5MP, 12MP, and 12.2MP. Taking into account the 4-in-1 pixel binning, this supports rumors of a 50MP main camera, and two 48MP cameras for the ultra-wide-angle and zoom lenses. The selfie camera is included with a 10.5-megapixel sensor, just like we saw on last year’s Pixel 7 Pro.
I love technology, simple as that. Half the time, you can find me writing scathing sales copy. The rest of the time, I’m either keeping readers updated on the latest happenings in the world of mobile technology or watching football. I worked as a freelance copywriter and content writer for a few years before joining the Notebookcheck team in 2017. Feel free to ask me some questions on Twitter or Reddit if that strikes your fancy.
