According to a tweet from the LAPD Valley Bureau, the plane lost power and crashed into the tracks.

The pilot was taken to hospital unidentified. No other injuries.
The damaged plane was on or near the Metrolink Antelope Valley Line railroad tracks and all train movement in the area was blocked, the LAFD added. One or more lanes of San Fernando Road and Osborne Street were closed in the area, while crews investigated and cleaned up the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
