A woman who worked as Kanye West’s assistant in 2021 and 2022 filed a lawsuit against the rapper, accusing him of sexually harassing her, firing her without cause, and not paying her her dues.
Lauren Pisciotta says she was mainly supporting herself via her OnlyFans profile in 2021 when she and West met. The suit says he hired her to help work on his fashion line, but she eventually also collaborated on three songs included on West’s album “Donda.”
In 2022, West asked her to stop using her OnlyFans account and offered her a salary of $1 million a year in exchange for doing so, and she agreed, according to the lawsuit. West then began sending her sexually explicit text messages. The matter escalated, according to the lawsuit, to West masturbating while speaking to her on the phone and sending her pornographic videos that he had filmed with another woman.
The lawsuit says she was later promoted at a salary of $4 million a year, but then was fired in late 2022. The lawsuit says West offered her a $3 million bonus, but she was never paid.
Among the charges listed in the lawsuit, Pisciotta is suing for abuse of context, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, hostile work environment, gender discrimination, unlawful retaliation, and unpaid wages. It seeks coverage for all legal fees, compensatory and punitive damages, penalties that would apply under relevant employment laws, and any other damages the court may deem appropriate.
