Christian Bale reportedly refused to appear as Batman in The Flash.

The movie mostly features Michael Keaton’s Batman (who we still think is pretty cool), Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne, and includes a cameo from another Batman, George Clooney, in the finale. It’s unclear why Bale, who played the Crusader in three films, declined to reprise the role — but we don’t blame him. “If Chris [Nolan] He came up to me and said, “I’ve got a new story,” I’d be interested.
