Christian Bale reportedly refused to appear as Batman in The Flash.

The movie mostly features Michael Keaton’s Batman (who we still think is pretty cool), Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne, and includes a cameo from another Batman, George Clooney, in the finale. After Barry Allen single-handedly destroys the space-time continuum (albeit with good intentions), he seems to be putting everything back together…or so we think.
At the end of the movie, Bruce Wayne comes to visit Barry. But instead of Affleck, Clooney appeared, and Barry was baffled. according to Comic book movieThe plan was for Bill to get out of the car at the end – not Clooney.
It’s unclear why Bale, who played the Crusader in three films, declined to reprise the role — but we don’t blame him. “If Chris [Nolan] He came up to me and said, “I’ve got a new story,” I’d be interested. But other than that, I don’t think so,” the actor previously said inverse. His last superhero project was playing Gorr the God Butcher in Thor: Love and Thunder.
