BREAKING: First renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 reveal a very sleek design

Samsung's new foldable phones will be the company's next major launch of the year. Given the growing popularity of its foldable phones, it goes without saying that there is a lot of excitement for what the company will offer this year.

It was only a matter of time before the leaks started, and now rumors have begun about the first appearance of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The overall design is what sets the Galaxy Z Fold apart, but it's a bit more squared off with clean, straight lines. It looks sleek and elegant, undoubtedly more aesthetically pleasing than the models that preceded it. According to these renders, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 measures 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1 when unfolded. Compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, the upcoming foldable phone is 1.4mm shorter and 2.6mm wider.

The renders also show that the two halves of the device fold almost completely flat with little or no gap in the panel. Although it may be a bit obvious in the actual device, we know that Samsung is working to reduce the panel gap and make the two halves as flush as possible. It's very likely that there will be an improvement on this front with the Galaxy Z Fold 6. A previous rumor had suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 would be the thinnest foldable phone. However, if history is any indication, it's only minor changes, as early renders these days are usually a good representation of what the final product will look like. There's no information yet on the confirmed Galaxy Z Fold 6 specifications, but it will apparently feature Qualcomm's latest chipset along with other top-tier components. Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in the second half of this year.
