Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval are both mourning the sudden death of their mutual friend, Ali Rafiq.
Amid Ongoing Scandoval Drama, ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Stars Instagram took over over the weekend to honor the St. Louis-based photographer, who passed away earlier this week.
Sandoval, who had known Rafik since childhood, wrote: “The love I have for you is beyond words and I will carry it in my heart forever.”
“Always cherish the beautiful memories, the uncontrollable laughter, and the epic experiences we had together. You were my best friend bro. I’ll catch you in the next sunrise…

Madix, who looked miserable when she was She was seen leaving LAX Airport Saturday, She also paid tribute to her friend, whom she met through her ex-husband.
“I keep wanting to text you. Looks like this can’t be real. We were just planning your trip to LA. Talking about our future and all the things we were looking forward to,” she began a lengthy post via Instagram Story.
“I miss us talking about life. I miss sending you some other cat memes. I miss chowing down on food. Or a DJ video. I miss you bringing your turntables. I miss us cuz we like to go home but we’re still out and about having fun. I miss the cut-and-copy songs and chromo.” .
Madix continued, writing that while she knew her late friend “wouldn’t see this,” she hoped it would “somehow” get to him.
“I love you always and forever. I am grateful for the moments we spent together and for the love and friendship you have shown me over the past 10 years.”
“You are so loved and so missed. I am proud to be able to say I know the great Ali. Because you are and always will be the greatest.”
Just a few days ago, Rafeeq shared a snapshot of himself and Madix from the early years of “Vanderpump Rules.” he Comment on the black and white profile picture, “We’re starting at the bottom now here we are @arianamadix #pumprules #2014.”
The cause of Rafik’s death is not yet known, according to his sister, Rabia.
“It’s human nature to ask, what happened, how did he die? The truth is, we don’t know how he died, we just found him and he was already gone,” she said on her Instagram Story after the funeral service on Saturday. “We won’t have any answers from his experiences.” For weeks, so we don’t know.”

Sadly, the loss of Madix’s best friend isn’t the only change in the reality star’s life.
Madix, 37, caught Sandoval, 40, having a months-long affair with fellow Vanderpump Rules showrunner and ex-boyfriend Raquel Levis back in March.
She quickly dumped her boyfriend of nine years and moved in with Daniel Way, whom she met at a wedding just days after finding out about the affair.
The “Vanderpump Rules” cameras weren’t rolling when Madix spotted a bomb. However, Bravo resumed production and recorded a new outro that documented the aftermath of Scandoval.
The highly anticipated final episode featured a heated confrontation between the now rednecks and Levis and Sandoval declaring their love for each other. Page Six has since confirmed that Sandoval and Levis, 28, have quit after the scandal.
The three-part “Vanderpump Rules” reunion begins airing this coming Wednesday at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
