After breast reduction, former ‘Bachelorette’ Rachel Ricchia celebrates

The Season 19 lead, who starred alongside Gabby and Wendy, shared her journey on social media since undergoing a breast reduction six weeks ago. Over the weekend, she stepped out to a music festival wearing a crop top Show off her new look.

Recchia took to TikTok to share a file video From her clothes, more specifically, her smaller breasts, tucked under a short white tank top. “I’ve waited my whole life to wear this shirt!!!” She captioned the video.

The 27-year-old had previously spoken of wanting to wear certain styles of clothing that she was unable to due to the size of her breasts. She first considered getting a cut when she was seventeen.

“I feel like I spent all of my teens and early 20s trying to hide my body,” she said on TikTok. “That’s why you’ve been seeing me so much of the time covered.” video leading up to surgery. “I always try on dresses or clothes [Bachelor franchise stylist Cary Fetman] And I always remember being like, “You know, when I’m done with my boobs I can wear this.” And it got to the point where I had so many T-shirts, bras, and bathing suits saved up for when I got this because I didn’t know when that was, but all I knew was that one day I would have them and I was wearing a tiny top.”

Coachella 2023 presented Recchia with this opportunity.

“The best post-op feeling is wearing the T-shirts you could never do,” wrote one commenter in the latest video, to which Recia responded. Another wrote, “We feel like we’re reborn,” with Rikia saying, “You got me!!”

Others asked about the details of the look, which led Rikiya to reveal that she was wearing a tank top that she cut herself. The little jeweled detail that stood out was something she added to her bra to “cover up the scar band.”

She later joked on her Instagram Stories that scar tape—a medical-grade silicone tape meant to reduce the appearance of scar tissue—was her “No. 1 accessory” for the weekend, when she still had only six weeks to go from surgery.

On TikTok, she shared that, for two months, she is supposed to wear a bra that was provided to her after her surgery. But for his Coachella debut, Recchia noted, “I made an exception.”
