Brussels, Feb. 25 (Reuters) – NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg on Friday said the coalition would deploy parts of its war-ready response force and continue to send weapons to Ukraine, including air defense. Government of Ukraine.
He was speaking at a news conference following a virtual meeting of NATO leaders.
Some of the 30 NATO allies announced that they would supply Ukraine with weapons, including air defense, he said without elaborating. He said the Allies were determined to continue to provide support.

Stoltenberg said NATO was deploying elements of its rapid response force along the NATO border with land, air, naval and special operations forces.
“We are now for the first time deploying a NATO response force in the context of collective security,” he said.
Separately, Germany announced the deployment of a contingent of troops to Slovakia, where the soldiers would form part of a new NATO contingent.
German Defense Minister Kristin Lambrecht told German public television ZDF after talks with her Slovak representative.
A company usually has 150-200 troops.
Germany will send a Patriot missile defense battery to the eastern part of NATO, with about 300 troops to operate it. It is not immediately clear exactly where this system will go.
