White lines on the top of screen

Hi guys i have this problem for a long time,i am sorry if i got this thread on wrong place,...i think its abouth video card..
i have ATI Radeon 9550(i know its old XD)i have white lines on the top of screen and also i cant see te top 5mm of screen which i see if i play any game..i tryed print screen i thought that was like windows eror,and on picture theres nothing when i go with mouse up on screen it gets like multiplied ...i tryed instaling catalyst drivers but thay doesnt work properly...anyone has any idea? thankss

I think it is the problem of monitor power related or the your video card driver problem so reinstall your driver and check the power input of your monitor.

It is occure while the problem creat on the video card driver. First reinstall it and check then.

If you do try new drivers make sure they match your operating system (including 32/64 bit) and your graphics card.

Sometimes it is better to go to an older driver so if the newest one does not work try going back a few versions.

Download a test program like memtest or 3DMark to test the graphics card and graphics memory and let us know what you get.

I think your monitor is not getting the proper power.

If your screen is a CRT then it could also be that you need to adjust the monitor sync controls.
