I just got a ATI Radeon 2600 Pro AGP card for my pc.
I've followed the instructions in the manual for setup yet it isnt working, can anyone guide me how to properly install this card better then the manual?

Some specs if you need:

-Windows XP Home
-AMD Duron Processor
-400 Watt Psu
-2 Gigs of RAM

I think to really help you, we need to know what problem you're having, what problem you're running into. Have you got the drivers installed, is the card in it's slot properly and firmly? Did you set windows to display through the card? Did you enable the card in windows device manager? This is all I can really suggest until I have more information.

in essence the procedure would be as follows:

1) remove the drivers of your existing video card, reboot, then shut down
2) remove the power plug from the pc, open the pc up, remove the old video card, and install the new video card (along with any cables required, such as power)
3) turn the pc back on, load into windows, and install the new video card drivers (either from the included cd, or from AMD's website here )

specifically is there anything that did not work? Did you install the video card into the slot and you get no signal on the monitor? Did you install the video card but not the drivers? Did the installation go right but still gives you crashing problems or poor performance?
