you should note that GPU1 client has ended (X1x00 series) and only newer HD 2x00, HD 3x00, and HD 4x00 series are supported.
The HD 2x00 and HD 3x00 series perform well, but are hardly up to snuff with the performance of the Nvidia cards right now. The HD 4x00 series is currently underutilized and wont get its peak performance until the next update is released. Fold to Cure! ![]()

The ATi client at the moment does not have the ppd of the NVidia client, but hopefully that will change in the future. They both still give good points compared the the old standard and even SMP clients for most machines. Here is a link to the NVidia cards supported http://www.nvidia.com/object/cuda_learn_products.html as well as the ATi's you already mentioned .
