Card for PCIe X4 or PCIe X8 or PCI-X 64-bit slot with 1900X1200

I would like to connect a 24 inch wide screen LCD to a server that has only PCIe X4 or PCIe X8 or PCI-X 64-bit slot. The card should be capable of 1900 X 1200 resolution. Please help.

If you don't plan on gaming, most Matrox cards from the P or the Parhelia series will do you right. Support to 2x 1900x1200, and are available in PCI, PCI-X or PCIe (or AGP)

Note that PCI-X can accept PCI cards as well.

[This is an old thread, but Google likes it.] Those who have x1, x4 or x8 PCIe slots but no x16 slots for video cards may wish to consider the AMD ATI 2270 x1. Worked fine in my aging Dell 2900 with dual monitors. Performance decent. PCI cards in PCI-X slots didn’t work for me. Grab a couple cards and support four monitors. Not a gamer card.
