ATI X800Xt in mobile version ( some simple questions for the users)

Dear Guys

So far i didnt found the right answer on the internet. I have ATI x800xt in my laptop ( 2ghz Centrino, 1GB DDR2 (soon 2GB) ) and with the new Catalyst i can manage to get 5,6K points in trial version of 3d mark 2005 ( with standard core and memory setting) I have found an impressive score 6,3K on the same card and I really dont know how its possible. Would it be possible to recomend me some other drivers to bit the score???

try the omega drivers. also sometimes running prigrams in the background has an effect

Find out which drivers were used on the benchmark with 6,300 points. It's possible that an older set of catalyst drivers might perform better in synthetic benchmarks. Also, have you compared with other results? Just because someone achieved a freakishly high score once doesn't mean that the average card will reach that score.

are you sure its the exact same card? because a mobile version will always perform slower than the desktop variant, which explains the lower score which is frankly normal. i wouldn't worry about it either if the games you play are not slow.
