785G motherboard and a 6770 discreet card

I am pretty sure this will work, but if anyone knows for sure that it will or will not work, please post.

I currentlly run window 7 using 4 monitors on a 785G chipset (gigabyte ma785gm-us2h) and a 3400 PCI express discreet card in extended desktop mode.

I sometimes have used this in hybird crossfire mode, but would like to upgade to a better 3d solultion.

I am planning on replacing the hd3400 card with a hd6770. I would like to keep the 4 displays in windows 7, and then just use the 6770 when I want to play a game.

I don't want to use the 4200 for gaming. I am assuimg this should work fine. Can anyone confirm or deny

Answering my own post.
This works as expected ... i drive 2 digital monitors off the 6770, one using dvi and one off the hdmi the igp drives one digital and one analog. Windows 7 works great, and when i go into a game or run a benchmark i get the speed expected from the 6770
