Nothing is working, something wrong?

I've been searching all day today to find out how to OC my video card. It's from the ATI Radeon X1200 series. I installed new drivers, tried all different programs. When I try ATITool, it says that it was denied access to Kernal Mode Driver, so I read online i might need to disable driver signing. I did that still didn't work. When I tried RadLinker/RadClocker every time I tried to edit something an error came up with an error with a number. So what am I doing wrong?

its a X1200... you won't get much out of it... try the catalyst control center, go to the advanced options, then the ATI Overdrive and unlock it...

go to ati.com and get the latest driver with the control center... and if you have any of those other programs installed, remove them

Ok, I uninstalled all the programs and then reinstalled the CCC I got it working now but I don't know where to go from there.

I've already tried rivatuner. When I try it I only get two options under the customize drop down and they're for monitor flicker and something else about the monitor.

Well I had my friend talk with me a bit about it. He recently OC his video card. When I start rivatuner, after I updated the drivers, it now says that my driver is unsupported by rivatuner. So I guess for now I can't really do anything.

so open the CCC or ATI in the lower right corner by the clock... check Advanced mode, next, yes...
Then to the left side click on ATI Overdrive... if that option is not there then your card does not support overclocking.

shouldn't make much difference, I can OC the integrated video in my older laptopa little bit (around 100Mhz, not really worth it)

I would just as soon leave it at stock clocks, OCing the GPU will inevitably lead to premature failure.
