My 6600GT needs voltmod
hey guys/gals
i own a Gigabyte GV-NX66T256DE Here and its showing quite a few annoying artifacts in BF2142 like green patches on the ground and such ive overclocked it from 500/800 to 589/918 it runs at 25C at idel and around 50C (i think) at load im just thinking about doing voltmod on the card until i get a 8800GTS the silent-pipe make the card run cool, and i have a spare fan sitting around that was on the top heatsink to make it cooler and it works, so i can make it cooler if i need to and when i go to overclock it more it says (using coolbits) "The test failed to run at the selected clock frequencies. Please lower your settings and try again" <--which sucks Thanks EDIT: i also have a Gigabyte GA-8I945P-G-RH motherboard if you might want that info |

Does it use the same chips as that card? Also, it does run without artifacts at stock, right? |

your the one suggesting theres different types...
it probably is, but it seams that Gigabyte has lower clock settings than all the others |
