May 29, 2007 1:13 pm PT
Hi

Just installed and works fine..On the biostar cd they also furnish a vranger over clock utility which I tried with even better improve ment.

My defaul card settings are gpu 300 i guess that's mhz...memory 532mhz

if i hit auto overclock it's gpu 435...and memory 667.......my question is is it safe to run at these faster speeds?

The only warning i get is don't use advanced settings changing voltages and stuff will void warrenty but doing the auto they say nothing..
someone said monitor the temp in a demanding game but i don't have an idea how

Well as long as you aren't getting artifacts and such in the game then it will be fine. All the auto overclock does it overclock it pretty close to the point where it passes all the "tests" that you have to run when manually overclocking it. The speeds at which it puts at are pretty safe.

For temps look around that program and see if it has a temperature monitor somewhere. Most likely it will. If it does not then anything like rivatuner, nvtweak/coolbits (they are the same thing) will have a feature like that. As long as your video card has a thermal sensor which most likely it will.
