Ati Tool
Im having an prob with the Ati tool when i try to run the artifact scan.

When i run the scan my system seems to lock up for some reason, sometimes it will unlock or just reboot the system


Did a clean/fresh install of the OS this morning also - Win XP Pro Sp2

Reason i put XP on today was because i had Vista on it & the gamming sucked


Ive tryd to run the scan a default clock & at OCd
Ive tryd using a little bit older of a driver & the latest also & no diff.

I can OC no prob with Riva tune & Coolbits & run games like DiRT& Oblivion fine butt Ati wont oc properly, it sems to freeze


Any suggestions on how to try fix it at all

1GB Memory
AMD x2 3800 @ 2.4 GHz
BFG 7900 GS OC @ 570MHz / 1.65GHz
300w PSU

I have the same problem. just use other means of overclocking for now until ati seams to fix the issue. been trying to find out the problem will update if I find anything
