Ati Mobility Radeon x1600 overclocking

Default:
GPU: 426MHz
MEM: 756MHz (378)

I can't decide do I need to overclock or not...
Overclocking means more performance, but in the other way - my card isn't a standard VGA (it is for notebooks) so i can't tell how it will behave when overclocked...

What should I do?

Core Duo 1.6
1024MB DDR II 533
Mobility radeon x1600 256MB (+256 Hyper-memory)
...

I would say no. Why?? Because it would mean more heat, more power consumption and there is a high possibility of damaging the notebook.

^ Not much more to say than that, really.

Plus, depending on the age of the notebook (very new, probably) you might void the warranty by overclocking.

Runs stable @ 450 core, 820 memory.
3D Mark scores increased about 25-40%
I can't believe it.
