Core2Duo for Sale
I have an E6300 for sale. I am asking $99 for it.
As you can see, it is more than a little bit of OCing friendly. Running @ 3.5GHz on air at default vcore. Notice the temp in CoreTemp.
Full load showing 46~47 degrees celsius. (Zalman 9700)
You will save about $70 as compared to current Newegg pricing.
Week/batch no# is available for those interested in purchasing.
Payment to be done via paypal. I will pay for shipping anywhere in the states.

I would be very much interested Brian if (1) the excellent cpu is still up for sale and (2) you are willing to send to UK. It will cost and extra $10 to post here so obviously will be happy to pay that too.
PM me to sort out details please.

The E6300's seem to average around 2.8GHz~3GHz. What makes this chip so special is that at 3.5GHz it was running very cool temps due to the stock voltage. Folding on both cores and the temps are around 46~47 degrees Celsius. On air you could not really ask for much more IMO.
Then there are the benches....it is right behind the E6600 in all of them. All in all a great deal if you ask me. Nice buy Ice
Both E6600's that I have been able to play with were able to hit 3.6GHz rock stable. One did require a bit of voltage @ 1.53 originally but eventually was able to knock it down to 1.48v after about four months of straight folding while the other one was @ 3600MHz on 1.43v and rock stable from the beginning.
Another note on the E6600's......seems that the new batches are not OCing as well........they are trying to say that the the "good silicon" is going to the quads now. Sounds a little crazy to me but the results that I have seen so far show that they are in deed having a more difficult time with the most recent batch that has been put out.

3.9GHz!?
wow, I did not know that you were running it that high.
This was on the P5B before the "juice" incident?
