"play" sign

hey guys! I have a problem. When I press the "Y=" button, the program to plug in the values for Y come out. Before the Ys, there are supposed to be "/"
ex. /Y1 =
/Y2 =
/Y3 =
....
right now I have a sign in front of the Ys that looks like a play-button. (it looks something like this; >| )

Does anyone know how to have the "/" back?? The "play-button sign" doesn't allow me to do graphs correctly.
Please help!
i hope you understood what i meant!
thank you!
P.S. I have a TI-84 plus

Smile

It's quite simple (you probably would have figured it out if you had played around a bit)
all you need to so is press the right arrow twice on the "y=" that has been changed so that the place where the line should be is flashing. All you need to do is press enter a few times.

The order that it goes is; a line, a thick line, upper half shaded, bottom half shaded, key handle symbol, number 0, dotted line, normal line.... i hope that this helps

Here it is

Actually, the play button sign is from an app that comes with the TI-84+. You probably inadvertently ran it while trying to figure out what all the Apps do. I can't remember the name, but it changes the graphing style, and you can run it again to turn it off.

Transformer would be the name. It should be at the bottom. Actually, unless you are a hig powered structural engineer, delete the app as soon as you can. It will only prove to be annoying. And if you need it back, someone is bound to have it.

I did this too on accident, but on my TI-84 the program is called Inequalz.
