"play" sign
hey guys! I have a problem. When I press the "Y=" button, the program to plug in the values for Y come out. Before the Ys, there are supposed to be "/"
ex. /Y1 = /Y2 = /Y3 = .... right now I have a sign in front of the Ys that looks like a play-button. (it looks something like this; >| ) Does anyone know how to have the "/" back?? The "play-button sign" doesn't allow me to do graphs correctly. Please help! i hope you understood what i meant! thank you! ![]() P.S. I have a TI-84 plus |

It's quite simple (you probably would have figured it out if you had played around a bit)
all you need to so is press the right arrow twice on the "y=" that has been changed so that the place where the line should be is flashing. All you need to do is press enter a few times. The order that it goes is; a line, a thick line, upper half shaded, bottom half shaded, key handle symbol, number 0, dotted line, normal line.... i hope that this helps ![]() |

Here it is
Actually, the play button sign is from an app that comes with the TI-84+. You probably inadvertently ran it while trying to figure out what all the Apps do. I can't remember the name, but it changes the graphing style, and you can run it again to turn it off.

I did this too on accident, but on my TI-84 the program is called Inequalz.
