E^(j90) = e^(j116)?????

hi!

if i try to calculate with the folowing complex expressions like e^(j*ANGLE), for instance: e^(j*90), it gives me a wrong angle...
this happens also if i just enter this expression. it should output the same angle, i gave it... but it always gets it wrong.
did anyone other notice this "bug"?
got ti83+ 1.10
is there a firmware update or anything else to fix this bug?
i need to calculate with those expressions and its nerved always to convert the expression in normal mode like (a+jb)...

any ideas?

Wait... what are you typing?
Are you using the angle() function?
angle(a+bi) gives an angle based on the cartesian coordinates (a,b)

if that's not what you're doing, show me exactly what you're typing
