I'm having trouble with my DVD playback on my PC. My graphics card is an asus 7100(GF2 MX, 32MB) and my DVD drive is a Pioneer 106s. My movies are jerky and the sound quality is also really poor(lots of hiss). In Device manager, I can't seem to get the DMA checkbox to remain selected after Windows restarts(Win98SE, early illegal version - could this be the problem?) The rest of my system is as follows:
Abit be6 MOBO
Cely 633
128MB Ram
IBM 40gig HD
SB16 Sound

If any solutions can be offered, they would be greatly appreciated.
