Lacie External Hard Drive not working anymore
I've had my LACIE external hard drive for a year now and it has worked fine up until a couple days ago. Now it can't be detected on my computer or laptop. Whenever i plug it into the USB slot, an output saying "The drive is not ready for use; its door may be open. Please check drive /device/Harddisk2/DR23 and make sure that a disk is inserted and that the drive door is closed." So i dont know waht that means. Any suggestions?

Lacie hard drive does not work properly due to overheating, failure in bad sectors or damage in the hard drive. In order to restore the data you need to format the external hard drive after that you need to use lacie disk recovery tool to restore the lost data safely.
