Quick question about windows messenger

I'm not sure if anyone will be able to answer this but i thought i would ask and maybe we can come to sort of a conclusion.

I use windows live messenger frequently.

Recently I logged in using default ships with xp windows messenger and received a notification that someone (that i had deleted) had added me.

is it possible to log in with an older version of msn and receive old notifications? or has this person added me again?

i don't think my account with msn works like that ya? once you've updated your account with any info from any version of any chat program its updated your account period, regardless of what program or version your logging in with. Thats my understanding anyway.

Phil
