Firefox- can't download + can't watch Youtube

So, yeah.. for 2 days now my ff suddenly stopped downloading..
Most Youtube vids won't work either.. they just keep on loading, and if I wait for a long time the whole screen flashes and windows notifies me that my graphic driver crashed and successfully recovered.
All of this works perfectly fine on IE.
also, my Jdownloader won't download a thing for about the same time.. maybe there is a connection?

Please help.. I like FF

EDIT: I should also note that I uninstalled FF, and reinstalled it (now using FF7).
Also did the same for Flash for Youtube..
