for web based mail, i use yahoo and they also integrate a nice spam filter into their qmail server as well
but i was speaking more bout bout my website domain's email server in particular. its a POP3 server so i'm looking for a stand alone application that i can install to piggy back onto outlook/outlook expressor any other pop 3 client... for enduser Quote:

Spamihilator and SpamAssassin come to mind. There's another one I used a couple years back, can't think of the name of it, but the icon was an orange octopus.
These are the ones I've seen mentioned and IIRC have heard good things about in the past, though it's been a long time since I've anything like them, and haven't used the two linked at all; don't take this as a first-hand account. |

Outlook Spam Filter.
SpamFilter. I'm using GMail, and usually it moves spam messages to the spam folder, and it's really working indeed. PS: I hate Symantec! End of story! ![]()
