Not in the next year, there is already discussion for the newer dx10 cards that they may use a pci-e 32x bus, doubt it would be for the first gen of dx 10 cards but you never know. And the thing about sata3 is the fact that hard drives don't even come close to using even half of the bandwidth sata 1 provides, let alone 2, but you never know. Speed may not improve much but efficiency definately will, quad cores should be a common thing by the end of next year, but then again you never know and can never predict what will happen in one year with computers.
