Pogue Carburetor
Pyro got me into thinking about fuel effecient cars after we talked on MSN. It was really 1933 something was invented, not 1950. It's called the "Pogue carburetor." It will supposedly get 100mpg on a v8.

That sounds amazing.
As for the article that opposes it, I'd like to see one running first before completely dismissing it...
