Controlling brain with repetative slowed down sound?
It is possible to program a person to do something. Can I program myself to slowly increase my memory rate ( to notice more things around me ) by slowing down my speech command around 15 times & overlay it on all my music tracks & listen them all the time?

![]() I asked about the slowed down speed cuz it sounds like a fraud to me. But yea I want to increase my learning capabilities. So I want to know if I can program myself to do following: If I would start reading important material ( & I tell myself that this is important & I need to remember it ) then I will do it subconsciously. And also will be consciously, able to recall necessary formula or recognize a certain pattern(where this formula can be used more efficiently) when i need to for example. What i found out, is that the children at small age, they suck all the information that surrounds, into them. I mean their learning capabilities are incredible. So it has something to do with the brain. according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Monroe the kids are in special brain state, where they can absorb & remember all the info & it is possible to train your brain to enter this state by will. But in this case you will absorb all info i think? But I need to absorb only the necessary information. Yet im interested in all possible solutions. Cuz Im still looking into it. |

Hello, magicalmuffin. What you are asking about is a really deep topic. There is a huge science that backs up everything related to brainwaves, neural pathways, accelerated learning, developing memory, and ultimately altering your brainwaves via external technological means in order to enter different brainwaves to enhance learning and so forth. However, these are all just the tip of the iceberg. Once could study and research decades and realize that he or she barely knows what's up with the human mind.
As soon as you getting into such sciences in order to produce results, you need to realize the very first rule of human mind and consciousness. That is the power of belief. If you begin from a standpoint of that - everything is a fraud - then no matter how complex and powerful that specific technique or piece of information you are trying to apply is, surely for you it will not work. Nevertheless, if you approach everything with an open mind and are open to possibilities, you are willing to grow, learn, and experiment without being attached to the results - that means, accepting and taking negative results purely as feedback - then ultimately you are going to reap amazing benefits. First of all, in order to understand what you are trying to accomplish you need to get into studying brainwaves. You need to fully comprehend how your mind naturally cycles through different brainwaves, sleeping stages, and see which brainwaves is dominating during particular activities. Once you are done after this step - you will start knowing the "ideal" brainwave for specific actions. There is no such thing as having only one type of brainwaves, there are always more than one being mixed together - but always there is a dominant one. Such as during our daily lifes in waking state the beta, or during deep learning states where we get into the flow, the alphas, or right at the moment when we fall asleep, the so-called point of amnesia, which happens during low theta. After you have researched and are totally aware how each type of brainwave influences different kinds of activities, then you are able to consciously decide which one you would like to enter into. We call these states. For example, as you mentioned, little childs are often times in "alpha-state" during their childhood and that's why they are able to learn so much from their surroundings but this also comes with a drawback - their state is dreamy, and feels just like a deep meditative state, but where you are still conscious. This is what happens when you get in the flow, which happens naturally when you are engaging into an activity that you love so much. Time just flies by and you were so focused and concentrated on that very activity that you're actually surprised to find out how long you spent doing that activity. Each time we get in the flow, there are lots of dominant alpha brainwaves but betas as well. We don't get into a meditative state, betas interfere with that, but we are relaxed and yet focused. How to reach alpha-state consciously and to effectively remain at that state (this is the problem for most of the people). We must first understand that an average Joe enters and goes through all of those brainwaves (delta, theta, alpha, beta). Delta usually happens when we're in a very deep sleep. Theta brainwaves are the hardest to achieve consciously, because naturally it happens at the very exact moment when we fall asleep. Do you actually remember the exact moment when you fallen asleep yesterday or anytime? Not really. Because that moment is actually the moment of amnesia. Naturally you are never aware and conscious when you are in theta state (especially low theta). Theta is powerful, very. Achieving theta is one of the toughest tasks. Alpha state is achievable quite easily. We often find ourselves daydreaming or vividly imagining some 'event', even without thinking. These daydreaming "moments" barely last a few seconds, do they? But yet they are somewhat quite long, or at least that's how they feel. This is because during those states, the notion of time disappears. Your mind is able to generate pictures and creatively render movies with 2387234623786 fps. We're in Alpha-state when listening to nice music or when watching TV, movies. As a side note, be careful; Yes I said nice music, that means chillout, ambient, trance music styles are a pro in this case. Heavy Metal and Hard Rock, even Techno are a no-no. I'm pointing out, just to be aware; before a meditation or visualization or anything, don't listen to anything "hard" like that. These types of genres seriously 'awaken' the right part of your brain. And ultimately when we want to silence our mind it will be harder, other thoughts will 'blink' in, appear from the nowhere, and find ourselves very stressed. No good. When you want to lower your brainwaves, why create a helluva amount of "high" waves due to energized activities, and then try achieving lower states. That's just simply nuts - sabotaging yourself. Keep in mind that you just don't switch between states like switching gear whilst driving a car. There is a close transition between the waves. Pay attention to the sensations. It helps your awareness and to remain conscious. If your brainwaves are very high alpha, that means you're also very close to beta, meaning you can easily drift out of this state. There are a few widely documented techniques to meditate and get yourself into specific states, such as low alpha. They can be done by anybody and with practice, significant results can come. However, there are artificial techniques due to technology that allow us to get into particular states with little to no action at all - these are the so-called binaural beats or Hemi-Sync (trademark, developed by Robert Monroe). Please, do understand that these topics are really vast and literally huge. What I've told you is nothing but the tip of the iceberg. Consciously influencing your brainwaves by will opens up unlimited possibilities. There are a lot of ethical and unethical activities that you can do. They can be dangerous, they are powerful, and ultimately, require a lot of practice to be effectively taken benefits of. I personally have got years of experience and can always help you every so often. But you need to come up with specific questions rather than asking such a deep topic. No one can tell you in a few sentences how to turn yourself into a genius. Try to use Google to find material on these topics, read, learn, and try to absorb everything that you find. Hopefully later on you will be able to connect the dots. Accelerated Learning is possible. It is a fact. It is not a fraud. However, it is by far not that simple as you are imagining it to be. It is a suite of sciences, a fine point where hypnosis, meditation, holistic approaches, brainwaves, NLP, and everything meet each other. You can reprogram your mind. You can consciously strenghten specific neural pathways, which are especially useful when developing a habit or exercising to achieve peak performance in some activities. The world's best athletes are using these techniques to develop themselves but the best trainers are working with them. Nigel Benn, the boxer was taught and trained by Paul McKenna, and Nigel fought the ultimate champion Gerald McClellan and the results were devastating (Feb 1995, IIRC). It has turned out as one of the most tragic aftermaths of the 90s. McClellan left the competition blind, half-deaf, and severely disabled for life. Anybody that has seen the fight notices something inhuman about Nigel. McClellan was becoming a legend during those days and started out kicking Nigel Benn's ass, however slowly but surely, Benn persevered, and the results were tragic. He himself stated that the fight was full of sheer emotion and frenetic energy and he couldn't do this without Paul McKenna's help. His autobiography is amazing, by the way. ![]() All in all, please do not expect to find a magic solution that you can apply right away and become a genius over night. There's no such thing. Stop looking for it. However, with dedication, burning desire, and strong hunger to learn more, you will find plenty of material, and start growing and practicing. Over time, you will begin the see results in your life. It takes time but it's pretty damn worth it. You can redefine your life. You can do the impossible. You can program your mind. You can unlearn any habit and acquire any skill. Once you start consciously influencing your mind, you will realize that everything is up to you. You can spark déja vu moments, you can induce slow motion, literally anything. You can influence other people. Somewhere deep inside this post lies the key to remote influence, seduction, and telekinesis. ![]() P.S.: Never forget - with great power comes greater responsibility. You can also make yourself go nuts. Good luck.

You seem to know much about this. Tell me. So the idea is to enter a state where "specific brain waves" are dominant, so you can absorb information more efficiently. In this case I will need some sord of a tool that will monitor my brain activity ( "brain waves" ). And I can use it to learn how to control those "states". How are those tools called? 1 more Q. Im sord of able to control "muscles" in my brain. ( I mean when i concentrate good ( when i think really hard ) I feel pressure in my scull & when this happens I immediately relax those muscles at will, then the pressure goes away & my brain feels a little lighter.) is this bad? does this have something to do with those states? |

The thing with children and thier incredible learning capacity is the fact that thier brains are in a plastic state .ie, still growing and changing, forming thousands of neural connections.
They absorb so much information and process it conciously, as they grow older the process of generating new neural connections slows down significantly and the brain essentially becomes `hardwired` to do what we do most and do it efficiently. Our diets play a huge role in the maintenance of our brains. `a good brain diet` will promote new neural pathways and the maintenance of more at one time where a poor diet will eventually make you stupid. Chips and beer = redneck syndrome From my reading, concider the brain like an infinately huge switching network of electronic gateways. you send a charge down a few thousand paths and it arrives at the next and the next addressing the right parts to access or imprint a memory. Autohypnosis is programming a specific result under specific stimuli, switches A&b to trigger result c. its complex, but it makes sense to me. Training your brain without autohypnosis or subliminal messaging is probably more effective. A good diet, healthy exercize, sleep and paying attention go a long way, its how i passed all my college exams without studying while most other people crammed and forgot everything. At this point tho, since my diet is crappy, i get almost no exercize and very little mental stimulation i wouldnt be able to pass those tests again so easily. |

I don't know that much about this topic however it does intrest me. I do know this: I frequently fall asleep listening to music and the music continues to play the whole time I am asleep. I have recently noticed that I somehow know the words to songs that I have never conciously heard before. Could this be the answer? Or I might just be able to read minds I don't know.
