Page 7 - Aliens or no Aliens?

almost sort of not quite close to the hypothetical load of garbage i posted. but iv actually never seen that before, cool .

one more thing to throw at the damned fools coming round on a saturday (can't do sundays...), when the sun's out (of course, can't walk around in your sunday best on a saturday UNLES the sun is out) and with a small, tattered book (another reason to wait for a sunny saturday, as the book would probably dissolve in the rain) to tell me their special message.

but i love jehovas witnesses!!!! they....they....they've WITNESSED JEHOVA!!! OMFG!!! *laughs hysterically* (I in no way am laughing at them for a religion, I find it funny like everything else. Even my religion)

and i really really hate it when they bring their children!!

the usual lot learned long ago to ignore our house... but then this strange family crop up, with their young (not that sort of young, the 11 year old sort...) daughter, make her say a few words about how they believe that this day was special for some reason, and then prod her to make her read form this silly little book!!

it's just terrible!! that's more of a sin than me being satanist!!

it was in an episode of south park where they manipulated the children into saying "corporations are bad" to woo the crows and hate the big coffee chain. Children are leverage to most people...aww....children.....they MUST be right! dubious? how so? And I should have worded myself differently. I don't laugh AT everything, but I just laugh. Laughing is healthy and good for the body and culture.

no i was referring to the religion bit being dubious .

lol. and yes, children are the ace when it comes to convincing people. damn accursed soppy eyes little...!!

my religion is complicated....and may prove to be a bit long winded for a thread not related to religion. (at least in the sense of "what is yours, etc."

never mind pyro. i just have a fairly low (i shan't say opinion) view of people who base their life on... nothing.

meh, i was trying to be polite when i said it was dubious... never mind. i was meaning to say "you have a religion pyro!! "

Religion can be both good and bad, it can bring peace, comfort and re-assurance to millions and yet be the cause for mindless violence....but thats a storey for another thread, how come weve strayed from the path.......I like the aliens thread.

People who generally have no ability to "think outside the box" need religion as an excuse to act "correctly" in our world.
IceDragon, some people are just too ignorant to know how to behave without some mindless dribble written in a book a couple thousand years ago.
Without religion, some people would be absolutely aweful people.
So, to stay on topic, the same people who are generally very religious are the same ones who think the whole universe is based upon them and their sole existance.
"Aliens" is just a term used to describe extraterestrials.
People from another planet, maybe far away.
I just hope real aliens are as cool as vulcans..lol
