You'd have to be one closed minded person to think we're alone in the universe, and everything revolves around our being. In regards to the age of the universe, we are nothing, not even an eye wink, such a small amount of time, almost incomprehensible. I am willing to bet, not only are their superior beings existing alongside us, but there has been trillions upon trillions of humanoid species come about and die off in just a few winks of the universal existence. Humans are nothing in aspect to the universe, what we do, say, think, or make of ourselves, makes no difference in the universal existence. It gets even better, take in consideration the finite amount of dimensions in existence. Humans don't even have an effective measure capable of telling in theory how old the universe is, much less a clue on where to start. Imagine, we cannot even see hardly anything outside our sector of the galaxy, that is large items, no way of knowing what is out there. Then think, trillions of galaxies, all in existence for nearly eternity, so, knowing what we do know, I see it impossible to explain anything supernaturally, seeing as the universal fabric is so precise, nothing can even come close to it, except itself.... Note to all: Keep an open mind, do not be afraid to let your mind wonder, after all, it is our purpose. So, a I am saying, is think really hard. All this time on this topic, and I can't believe that this hasn't been posted yet:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drake_equation There are still a lot of numbers we don't know yet, but we're actually starting to fill some of them in. |
