New PSU with delayed controls

I recently got a new PSU on friday. It's a Rosewill 600W which is an upgrade from my current Rosewill 550W. I bought it because I needed a 2 x 6 pins for my new gfx 9800 GTX+ video card. Well after plugging everything in friday, everything seemed to be in shape. I was playing games and doing normal things just fine.

Then suddenly on Sunday I was getting heavy lag issues on normal commands (like right click and opening programs had severe delayed reaction) so I took out the PSU and put in my old unit with my old gfx 8600 GT, and everything is working as it did before. I am stumped and need help.

I would post my URL where I got it from (btw is newegg) but since I'm a new user it doesn't allow me.

EDIT: I used the pro version of extreme power supply calc and my new PSU has more than the minimum requirements.

EDIT EDIT: Found out it was a driver conflicting issue with rivatuner and the new 182.08 gfx driver.
