in that case there must be more than one place printers hide within the registry...


ok if you go to faxes and printers etc, then go to file and server properties again

then select your printer and click remove, what happens?

booooyyyyaaa! i fixed it.
i was one step ahead of you on the one. it always shows 3, and when i went to copy/faxes, i deleted 2 of them, but when i'd restart the 1 would always come back, so i still had 2. so all of a suddon it hit me. i don't need to go rounds with my computer, i'll take the easy way out, and make the copy, the default, so it will print from there first and i don't have to change it, lol.

right..... i hate lexmarks

Login to the administrator account or creat anouther user to see if its still there

ye I noticed that but the best way when that sorta thing happens is change the user and then deleate them

right so my user that is set up the way i like with custom themes that i like, i have all my playlists and gigs of downloads in my docs, im just going to create a new user and move everything to that.... doubt it, too much hastle, yes i can see it fixing an issue, but this would most likely come back regardless and the time taken to transfer all this info would be for nothing, im not saying its not an option, jsut some people dont like having to create new users and transfer all the info over just to get a poxy printer working
