New Hardware Macro Device for PCs

There’s a new piece of hardware getting crowd funded that looks to be a great tool for gamers! Their tagline is " The functionality of macro software in a hardware device ". Think of a hardware version of AutoIt, but undetectable as it appears to Windows as a keyboard and mouse ! It records and plays back keystrokes, mouse clicks and mouse movements.

I think this is a huge evolution from macro software to macro hardware. I really want to get one of these (contributed already) so I’m spreading the word so that they meet their goal and make them. If you are at all interested in this, buy one and tell your friends!

Not sure if this forum is the right place to solicite support for crowdfunding of this sort of product.

This device appears to be aimed for playing back scripts in test environments (using a DOS host), or saving keystroke sequences with accurate timing for reproducing bugs.

From the information they have provided on their funding page (which is very limited and their web site is just a holding page) I do not see what real use it would be to regular game players or PC users.

I think it could be a useful tool for some developers and support staff so good luck with the project.

What was so interesting... the fact that they could play back a script of keyboard and mouse movements and watch the game play them (with no intelligence)?

Like I said, useful for developers and support staff to repeat something someone is reporting.
