Keyboard acting up

Hi there I hope someone can help but if I use notepad my lower case L comes out like a 7 but works as normal in other applications . hope someone can help . Thanks in advance

Is this the only letter or number that is affected? It would sound like it may be time to buy another keyboard. Usually it's more than one letter that is troublesome when keyboards fail.

I'm thinking there may be a problem with Notepad... different (say, italic) font being used or something.

Enable BSOD: Control Panel/Systems, Advanced Tab, hit the Settings button under Startup and Recovery, and under the System Failure area, uncheck the Automatically Restart checkbox.

Seems to be the only letter affected and only when using notepad , thanks
