you could always go to the manufacturer, they would be the most likely source for the part... however they may just charge your silly money for a little bit of plastic then postage on top of that... i remember fixing a laptop for someone ages ago and I needed a bit of plastic that held the cover around the modem port, it cost me (well the customer) £25 for the plastic that couldnt have been worth more than £2.50 and then £10 postage which should have been recorded delivery but came first class.... i wasnt happy, but it had to be done, also depending on how long you had the mouse, you could have contacted them and seen about an RMA, since its been opened they wont be so interested now.
