Still building my First build
Hi guys! SOrry for being tarded on some of my posts esp. about the copper conducted Heatsink fan issue. I was told copper is better, but when you shut off your computer that heat stays near the cpu, therefore, the aluminum wins on that one, lolz. Here is what i started off with:

thank you. I gotta redeem myself somehow, 1 is by learning from you guys.
Im not trying to build an ultimate machine, but something that will show some competition for the xbox360. For my GFX card, i think im am going to upgrade to a bfg gts250 1gb. Now, correct me if im wrong, but didnt Nvidia build the GPU for the xbox360? I did, however, learn about what the i-7 is all about through a shop. Not bad, but too much for in need of these days. I was told its a quad core with hyperthread tech cpu. So, im assuming 4 cores and 4 virtual cores. |

The XBox 360 graphics chip was designed by ATi

Don't get a gts250, all it is is a renamed 9800gtx+.
As for the i7 having 4 cores and 4 virtual cores, yes in a sense it does. But don't get that confused with it being anywhere similar to an 8 core chip, it just isn't. i7 is an awesome line, but not very budget friendly. i5's and i3's are a much better option for the average joe, that or going AMD with their Phenom II and Athlon II lines. Looking at your build and planned upgrades, I will tell you, avoid the Caviar blue and green lines, they are slow. Go Caviar black or don't go WD at all. You have a decent setup now, should treat you well.
