Selecting New Components
Hello Everyone ,
my computer is in much need of a few new components, i have an EVGA 680i Sli motherboard Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.13Ghz 2x OCZ 1gb sticks of ram an old graphics card, think its a 9400gt nvidia And a thermaltake toughpower 750W PSU was thinking about getting a quad core processor and 4-8gig of ram and defiantly a new graphics card was thinking about 2x Nvidia gtx 260 in Sli don't know if two would be too much, i have about 600-700 GBP to spend just wanting to know any recommendations for new components as im abit of a noob Thanks Colin |

I would say that going to 4GB is going to give you plenty of RAM and with a 64 bit OS you will get all 4GB (as opposed to only being able to use 3GB with a 32 bit OS).
As for the other bits and pieces you will need to wait for someone like Stang or one of the others that know the games to tell you what hardware is suitable. |
