Locking up
Just built a new rig, but it seems to lock up randomly whether browsing the internet or just listening to music, but not when I play games. Sometimes it goes into the BSOD and shows that the problem is a file called NV4 Disp or something like that. So I googled it saw that people were reinstalling the drivers, did it but the lock ups still occur...Could heat also be a problem here? I'm using the stock fan on the cpu but the chipset gets really hot. The temps I'm getting are around 40 for the cpu and mobo, are those normal?
System Specs:
Intel dual core E6850 3.0G (stock fan)
Windows XP
MSI N8800GT OC
4G corsair memory
500 Gb HDD
700 watt psu OCZ
creative sound card.
