I need help with a Steering Wheel

I'm in quite a weird pickel. Today I bought a device (Gameon Universal USB Converter), what it does is it enables you to use Gamecube, Playstation1/2, and Xbox Controllers with your PC via a USB connection. Well the controllers work fine but my bloody steering wheel just refuses to show signs of life when plugged in. Now I've tested it on a PS2 and it works just as it should. I know there's probably a difference in the wiring somewhere or something in the firmware.... just something (I'm not real smart when it comes to these things). Could someone tell me what the problem is and if there is a way to fix it? Any responses to assist my dilemma is much appreciated.

Hmm.. interesting.

I wonder if its a power issue. In other words the controller gets enough power from the USB port but the steering wheel doesn't.

Odd though.

You might've hit the nail on the head there.
