No no, no no. no, no no no no...
NEVER! I repeat Never! go with a watercooling KIT, they are complete and utter junk. Custom kits CAN be much much much better, or just as bad, really depends on what you put into them. As for the reservoir, whenever it is running low... Just do yourself a favor and don't buy a kit, you are just as well off with a nice big 120mm fan and a great CPU heatsink.

Well the difference is...
Better blocks, better pump, better rad, better everything pretty much... The high end blocks that you can get will move heat much more efficiently than something from like thermaltake, such as a Apogee GTX, those are top of the line. Better pump, can maintain a better flow rate, which can be critical in moving heat especially when in a high heat situation, they also allow for larger tubing which also helps contribute to the flow rate. On top of that they can be more efficient and a better quality which will help them last longer. Better rads, well they just cool the water a lot better... Something quiet eh? Tuniq tower is probably you're best bet. As for being quiet that is all in what fan you pick, just get something with decent CFM's but that is still in your comfortable sound range. Unless you want something smaller, then the scythe katana is pretty quality for a 92mm cooler (its what I run), it has a quiet 92mm fan that comes stock or you could get an aftermarket to replace. |

If you are going to go a Kitted route, the swiftech kits are not so bad. They at least come with black ice radiators and decent blocks (because we all know swiftech makes decent blocks). The bigwater is utter junk. It won't help you out in the OC area very much at all, because it just doesn't have what it takes to keep the temperatures down.
