are these just like any other air cooler? alot like the tuniq

but i love the idea of no fans however all the ones i looked at had fans. can u recommend a spesific cooler?

also change of plans i might be going quad core... i no this affects cooling alot, i was originaly gonna go with maybe the arctic cooler 7, but then when i decided to go quad, i thought i really should get water cooling...

will a heat pipe cooler be able to handle overclocked quad core??

Well first off most watercooling systems have fans, and generally they will actually have more fans if you get a high end set up.

2nd a good heatpipe cooler will handle a quads load just as well as a crappy wc, if not even somewhat better. And yes these are like a tuniq tower, which is one of the best coolers out there.

hmm ok i see

i dont really ming whether its air or wc as long as it works good and i dont want to spend money on sumthing which performs only a bit better...

i guess the heatpipe coolers look alot better then a water cooler since there cheap easy to set up and perform the same or even better

well im thinking of getting either a Q6600 or wait for the penryn's were i'd probly get a Q9350 they're 45nm so doesnt that mean they run cooler then 65nm?? what cooler do u suggest

Well if you have a big case I would go with the Tuniq for the cpu. If you want chipset/mosfets and gpu then I would go with thermalright stuff for that. HR-03 for your gpu and then their chipset/mosfet coolers (I forget what they are called)
