Hi there,I just bought a PCI exhaust fan for my graphics card and it came with 2 four pins connectors, one male and one female. I am not sure if both of them are used and if so do I connect them to the motherboard and/or the PSU or both. It came with no instructions and I don't want to try to connect them in case I damage my pc. Any help in this matter would be very much appreciated. ![]() |

The extra plug in is just so you can plug something else in. All fans require one female plug, but some also have a male, so when the female is plugged in, you can plug something else into the male on the fan. That way you lose one 4-pin power source for your fan, but also gain one, leaving at a (1-1=0) difference.
