Help with cooling my PC?

I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction for my problem, to a resource I can go to and learn how to solve it.

The Problem:

My system has started to crash due to overheating. The only two solutions I can think of to this are 1) use my PC less or 2) get a better cooling system. Since I need to continue using my PC, I am hoping to go with solution #2.

Here are links to the parts that are in my computer.

Well, this doesn't allow me to have links in this post. I'll see what I can do.

I use 2 system fans and the CPU fan/heatsink currently for cooling. Could anyone direct me to a source of information that would educate me on how to set up better cooling for my PC? Or tell me how to do it?

Thank you for any help!

You'd have to copy and paste these into your brower and then replace the spaces with periods if you are interested in viewing what hardware I am using.

No one? I'm just looking for a book or website where I can read about how to cool my PC properly, or any tips you might offer.

Okay, we need more information.

I am pressed for time at the moment, so I am not going to be punching in a bunch of links; it might be helpful if you listed the names of the items (though we do appreciate links for specific model numbers and their specs).

Who built this computer, yourself? Why or for what reasons to do you suspect the problem is specifically overheating? What are the normal operating temps, temps when it fails and what happens when it fails? Can you duplicate the failure easily, or is it random?

How technical are you? What kind of budget do you have?

Cooling covers a wide range of products and solutions, and one man's solutions won't work for another, so we have to know what your particulars are so we can get a better handle on what will work best for you.

You say you have a heat-sink, that's great! Is it generic or a particular rand/model? What kind of thermal-transfer material do you have between it and the processor? Was it applied according to instructions? Where are the two fans? Are they both blowing in, blowing out, or one of each? Are you counting the power supply fan, or does it not have one? What about the video card, does it have a fan? Where does the computer case reside normally, on the floor? Is it a carpeted floor, is it buried in a cubby hole of a desk?
