Cooling on a bigger scale

I'm sorry that this is not a PC related problem but I cant seem to find any help else on the web.

Me and a few friends are building a wind turbine generator. So we have made copper coils that we are gonna put in an epoxy. But the problem is that the coils get hot, while the epoxy is not very good at conducting heat. So we are planning to attach an aluminum heatsink to the coils, that will lead the heat out of the epoxy. But we are having a hard time finding a way to attach the heatsink to the coil, because we need either a glue or an epoxy that is good at conducting heat.

So my question is if anyone know of a material that would do the job.

Are the copper coils the windings of the turbine itself, or is this something different?

You may try to adjust with metal wire or fixed by welding.

The copper coils are the generator windings, yes.

Welding would connect the two metals, but since the copper coils are transmitting current you really dont want the heatsink to be in direct contact with the coils, since this may result in the currents going into the heatsink.

In that case, and assuming that air-cooling is not sufficient, then you may have to resort to using a liquid coolant-- mineral oil, perhaps, or if you have the budget, coolanol or PAO.
